With the made-to-order framework, we begin production after your order is placed. This is to reduce waste and allows us to offer more size variations.

While we would love to ship next day, all of our garments are made-to-order and require a little extra time to construct. Our production lead time is typically 7-10 business days, but the most up-to-date timeline is displayed at the top of the website.

No worries! We know that finding your inseam length is not the most common practice and may take some trial and error. Contact us at hello@metreclothing.com and we will help you process a alteration or return.

Yes! We have not gone fully custom because we want people to have the option to return clothes that don't fit. See our return policy for more information.

We are striving for circular garments. All of our garments are made of natural fibers with ecofriendly dyes. Natural fibers are recyclable and compostable which better for the planet. Additionally, we never use fabrics with more than two fibers, because anything more makes garment recycling more difficult and expensive. While our garments are made to last, all can be recycled into additional fabrics or return to the earth once they reach the end of their life.

We recycle and reuse as much as possible during construction. All of our scraps are saved to be used as pocket linings. Anything too small is sent to a recycling facility where it is woven into new fabrics.
